      Alibi's Composer Music Delivery Guide

      Instructions for composers to contribute music to Alibi

      ALIBI Delivery Guidelines Format and Specifications

      • ●  48khz/24-bit AIF or WAV

      • ●  At least 3dB of headroom

      • ●  No master bus limiting/compression

      • ●  All files should be exported from the same start/end points and be the same length

      • ●  All mixes should be exported with the same track levels

        Exporting

      Every track should have the following mixes where applicable;

      1 Drums and Bass Mix - only drums and bass
      2 Full Mix - all instruments and vocals if present
      3 Holiday Mix - all instruments with a layer of sleigh bells, no vocals
      4 Instrumental Mix - no vocals (including choirs, chants, shouts, breaths, etc.)
      5 Radio Edit - all instruments and vocals if present
      6 Radio Edit Instrumental Mix - no vocals
      7 Rhythm Mix - no lead instruments or vocals
      8 Sparse Mix - no drums or vocals
      9 Sparse Rhythm Mix - no drums, lead instruments or vocals
      10 Stems - groups of instruments i.e. Drums, Pads, Electric Guitars

      Sometimes additional mixes might be necessary or useful but you should ensure that all of the above mixes are provided first, and that any extra mixes are clearly labelled as to what’s in them.

      Naming

      Here is an example list of all files for a single song;

      Uploading

      When uploading your tracks, you should create a sub-folder for each song using the same name as the song itself, for instance;

      PO-ALIBI-Epic Rock 5-Anthem for the Fallen-128bpm-Cmin

      If the song contains lyrical vocals or writer splits, we will email you a link to a sheet where you can check or amend royalty split information and add vocals.

      Final Notes

      Before invoicing, please do a final check to ensure that;

      • ●  The file names are in line with the naming scheme described

      • ●  All files play correctly, with their contents matching their names (e.g. no drums in a Sparse

        Mix) and containing no errors (blank files, clipping, distortion)

      • ●  You have provided a sleigh bell stem
