Open Roles
ALIBI Music is a production music library offering high-quality music and sound effects for license in film, television, advertising, trailers, promos, and video games. We work with a roster of more than 500 composers and artists worldwide, and our catalog reaches audiences through major streaming platforms and direct client relationships. We're looking for a detail-oriented, creative self-starter to support our Distribution Team.
This position will be the conduit for ALIBI’s music to reach DSPs and our international audience. The role will assist in delivering albums to our distributor and help build playlists, artwork, and promotional content to introduce our catalog to listeners on Spotify, Apple Music, and other DSPs. This role also will assist in keeping the metadata and files behind that content accurate, organized, and delivery-ready. If you like the idea of your creative work actually shipping to real platforms, and you're the kind of person who also enjoys getting a spreadsheet or tagging system exactly right, this role blends both. It's part-time to start (about 20 hours/week), with real potential to grow into a full-time Catalog & Distribution Coordinator role as our team expands.
Compensation: $27-$33/hr, based on experience.
What You'll Do
Creative Content
-
Design playlist cover art, promotional graphics, and short-form audio/video content for album and catalog releases.
-
Produce assets for our content calendar: marketing, social, and client-facing materials.
-
Collaborate with the team to keep content on-brand and on schedule.
Metadata Management
-
Review and maintain accurate metadata for audio and video assets across internal and external systems.
-
Ensure metadata complies with industry standards and client/platform specifications.
-
Audit the catalog to identify and correct missing, outdated, or inconsistent information.
-
Organize and tag assets to keep the library searchable and easy to navigate.
Audio & Video File Delivery
-
Deliver audio and video files to clients, partners, and distribution platforms.
-
Track deliverable deadlines and proactively communicate status updates.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve file delivery issues in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For
-
Must be based in the Philadelphia, PA area (regular in-person check-ins with your supervisor).
-
Basic or higher content creation skills: graphic design, audio editing, or video editing.
-
Comfort with spreadsheets, databases, or digital asset management tools (prior DAM/metadata experience a plus, not required).
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, part-time role.
- Strong written communication skills
Why Join Us
-
Flexible, remote part-time schedule built around your schedule.
